Securing PRCA APAC Awards 2026, Concrete Proof of Pertamina's Commitment...
PT Pertamina (Persero) has once again achieved an international accolade by winning a prestigious award at the PRCA APAC Awards 2026. Pertamina successfully clinched the Corporate, Finance and Investor Relations category through its strategic programme, Pertamina Investor Day (PID) 2025, themed ‘Navigating Challenges Towards Energy Resilience’.
This accomplishment serves as concrete evidence of Pertamina’s commitment to implementing the ‘Energizing Indonesia’ spirit, where transparency and investor trust are key to supporting energy sustainability in the country.
“This award is an appreciation for Pertamina’s success in integrating financial communication strategies with direct investor engagement. This has a significant impact on strengthening market confidence and opening broader funding access to support national strategic projects for maintaining energy resilience,” stated VP Investor Relations of PT Pertamina (Persero), Juferson V. Mangempis, in a written statement on Friday, 1 May 2026.
The PRCA APAC Awards is a benchmark for excellence in communication and public relations practices in the Asia-Pacific region. The evaluation is conducted rigorously by an international panel of judges based on aspects of strategy quality, creativity, originality, execution quality, and measurable impact for the organisation and stakeholders.
Juferson stated that this achievement reflects Pertamina’s transformation in financial communication, which now serves as a strategic driver for the company.
“In the effort to Energizing Indonesia, investors not only need transparency but also clarity of strategy and credibility of execution. PID 2025 addresses these needs by providing a concrete platform for investment dialogue and value-adding business collaboration for national energy sovereignty,” he explained.
Through Pertamina Investor Day 2025, Pertamina went beyond merely conveying performance information. The company created an ecosystem that directly connects financial institutions, strategic partners, and project owners.
“We will continue to strengthen the role of investor relations as a strategic enabler. With strong capital access and maintained market trust, Pertamina can steadily advance in ensuring the availability, accessibility, and affordability of energy for all Indonesian people,” Juferson added.
VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Muhammad Baron, emphasised that this international recognition has a direct correlation to the company’s business sustainability.
“This award proves that transparent and accountable communication strategies can create positive sentiment in the global market. For Pertamina, this trust is a crucial non-financial asset for ensuring business sustainability. With a maintained reputation, we have strong fundamentals to attract green investments and strategic partnerships that support the energy transition and national resilience in the future,” Baron concluded.
