Secure Parking Boss Prepares eNOS App, No Longer Need to Take Ticket When Entering Mall
Jakarta — Parking operator PT Securindo Packatama Indonesia (Secure Parking) is preparing to introduce a ticketless parking system at shopping malls and office buildings. Through mobile application-based technology, drivers will be able to enter and exit parking areas without opening their vehicle windows or collecting tickets.
This innovation represents the latest development from the fifth-generation parking system currently being operated by Secure Parking at various locations.
Secure Parking President Director Rustam Rachmat said the technology is named eNOS and will be accessed through a mobile application with the same name.
“Access is via mobile phone. So there’s no need to open the window or collect a ticket anymore. Vehicles enter and exit simply by using the application on the mobile phone,” said Rustam when speaking with Kompas.com on Monday (9 March 2026).
According to Rustam, users’ devices will be automatically detected when the vehicle approaches the parking gate, making the entry and exit process faster.
“It can be detected from approximately two metres away. So it’s truly seamless; you don’t need to stop for long at the entrance or exit,” he said.
“The system is ready, but we haven’t launched it yet. We’ve already installed and tested it at four locations,” he added.
These four locations include the Mangga Dua area, Secure Park PIK 2, Mal PIK Avenue, and Plaza Indonesia in Jakarta.
Rustam is targeting the eNOS application to launch officially this year.
In the initial phase, parking management was still entirely done manually by staff.
“Initially it was manual. After that we realised that the parking system could be computerised,” he said.
Secure Parking began as a small parking lot in Central Jakarta with a manual parking system in 1992. Towards the end of the 1990s, the company began implementing computerisation in parking operations. This system became the early generation of parking digitalisation in Indonesia.
Subsequently, innovation continued to develop to speed up vehicle flow. Between 1996 and 1997, the company began introducing boom gates or automatic parking barriers.
This technology became an important milestone in the modernisation of parking systems at shopping malls and office buildings.
Today, parking technology has come a long way from the manual system used three decades ago. Secure Parking has even implemented a fifth-generation parking system that operates almost entirely automatically.
In this system, vehicle entry and exit gates can operate without field staff. Cameras and sensors read vehicle registration numbers, while verification is conducted by an artificial intelligence-based system.
