Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Immigration and Community Integration (Kemenimipas), Asep Kurnia, inaugurated several high-ranking pratama officials. This inauguration is part of efforts to strengthen the organisation and improve the quality of public services.

The inauguration was carried out based on Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Immigration and Community Integration Number M.IP-165 and 168.SA.03.04 of 2026 regarding Dismissal and Appointment from and to Managerial Positions and Non-Managerial Positions within the Ministry of Immigration and Community Integration. The appointment of these high pratama leaders embodies organisational refreshment as well as strengthening the strategic role of work units, both in the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration and the Directorate General of Community Integration.

The officials inaugurated today are Guntur Sahat Hamonangan as Head of Regional Office (Kakanwil) of Ditjen Immigration for the Riau Islands, Johanes Fanny Satria Cahya Aprianto as Kakanwil of Ditjen Immigration for South Sumatra, Wahyu Eka Putra as Head of Special Class I Immigration Office TPI Batam, Ade Agustina as Kakanwil of Ditjen Community Integration for the Bangka Belitung Islands, Haposan Silalahi as Kakanwil of Ditjen Community Integration for North Sulawesi, Tonny Nainggolan as Kakanwil of Directorate General of Community Integration for Bengkulu, and Christo Victor Nixon Toar as Head of Class I Penitentiary Malang.

Representing the Minister of Immigration and Community Integration, Agus Andrianto, Asep Kurnia officially inaugurated the officials. He emphasised that positions are a trust that must be carried out with full responsibility.

“Brothers and sisters whom I have sworn in, with this I officially appoint you to the positions as stated in the decree that has been read. May you always receive guidance and direction from the Almighty God in carrying out those duties,” said Asep in his statement, Thursday (9/4/2026).

Kemenimipas is committed to maintaining leadership continuity and encouraging improved organisational performance through the placement of competent and integrity-filled officials. Job rotation and promotion are part of organisational dynamics aimed at strengthening good governance, while ensuring services to the public continue to run optimally, professionally, and accountably.

Kemenimipas is also committed to continuing to strengthen bureaucratic reform through the development of professional and integrity-filled human resources. This is also an effort to provide increasingly quality public services oriented towards the interests of the community.
