Close to Gunung Agung bookshop on Jl. Kwitang, Central
Jakarta, vendors selling secondhand books occupy almost half the
road, some have set up tents from which they sell their wares.

Not far from this area there are other secondhand book sellers
along the sidewalk stretching from Jl. Kramat Raya up to the
start of Jl. Kwitang. Still more secondhand-book-stalls are found
at Senen bus terminal.

The Central Jakarta municipality administration should
designate a special site for vendors to sell secondhand books in
this municipality. Buyers will have a most enjoyable time
searching for the books that they need.
