Secondary School Graduates Eligible for Ministry of Labour Vocational Training with Living Allowance
JAKARTA – The Ministry of Labour is conducting the 2026 National Vocational Training Programme. This programme targets secondary school graduates and those with equivalent qualifications.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that the training aims to enhance work competence, discipline, and attitude among secondary school graduates. The programme applies a “link and match” concept connecting training with business and industrial sectors.
“Graduates are expected to immediately meet the demands and requirements of the labour market,” Airlangga said during a press conference at the Ministry of Labour in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February 2026.
“And for this reason, we hope that secondary school and vocational school graduates who have completed their studies within the last three years can participate in this training,” Airlangga added.
Interested secondary school graduates can register through skillhub.kemnaker.go.id. Participants receive skills training, transport assistance, workplace injury and death insurance coverage, and a certificate.
Training fields include communication, information technology, tourism, business management, fashion, automotive, housekeeping, electrical work, construction, and others.
“For certain training programmes, accommodation is also provided for those who register from outside the training location, from different cities compared to where the training takes place,” Airlangga said.
The programme is conducted across 33 Vocational Training and Productivity Technical Implementation Units. Training duration ranges from two weeks, one month, two months, or three months.
“The living allowance is 20,000 rupiah per day. This is to assist those participating in the training,” said Yassierli.
