Second day of search yields no results; Basarnas Banten evaluates search locations

On the second day of the search for eight victims of a speedboat that lost contact in the waters of the Sunda Strait, the joint SAR team—comprising Basarnas Banten, Polairud Polda Banten, and Lanal Banten—temporarily halted search operations overnight due to limited visibility.

The Head of the Banten Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas), Al Amrad, stated on Wednesday (9/9) that an evaluation will be conducted for Thursday’s search, given that no victims were found during the second day of operations.
