Seaweed jelly poisons children

PALEMBANG, South Sumatra: Three siblings were taken to hospital in Palembang on Sunday after they ate jelly made of seaweed.

Rasyid, the father of the three children, said they vomited after eating the jelly, which they bought from a shop nearby their home.

It is not clear whether the jelly was past its used by date. The police are investigating the incident. -- JP
