Search Widens! After de'CLAN Cafe, Police Target Pacific Place and Kuningan Area

The search conducted by the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) together with the Metro Jaya Regional Police has expanded. Not only targeting the de’CLAN Signature cafe and Koin Money Changer in the Cipete area, investigators have also raided several other locations, including a number of spots in the Pacific Place area, South Jakarta. Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that most of the search locations are in the Jakarta area. “For now, in the South Jakarta area there are around four to five points, including this one now at several points in Pacific Place, including in the Kuningan area, Sudirman,” he said on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. During the search at Cafe de’CLAN Signature, investigators previously found a safe containing stacks of foreign currency, specifically US dollars and Singapore dollars. “After the search process was carried out, the process of counting the money is still ongoing, we will update you all later,” he added. In addition to the cash, investigators also seized a number of documents from the location. Similar findings were reported from other searched locations. The joint investigation team from Kortastipidkor and Metro Jaya Police is handling three alleged corruption and money laundering cases.
