Search of BGN Office Ongoing: An Overview of the Situation

Investigators from the Special Crimes division of the Attorney General’s Office are indeed conducting a search at the BGN office, stated the Acting Head of the Attorney General’s Office’s Information Centre, Mochamad Jeffry, to reporters on Wednesday (3/6/2026).

Observations at the location at 12:23 WIB showed security personnel guarding the entrance gates of the BGN office area, with building security screening every individual attempting to enter. BGN employees have gradually begun to leave the premises, having waited for a significant period outside the building as they were not permitted to enter.

According to one employee, the search is being conducted on the second floor of the BGN office. Information received suggests that the rooms being searched belong to the leadership of the BGN.

As of now, there has been no official statement from the BGN regarding the search. The raid follows the removal of three BGN leaders, namely Dadan Hindayana as Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Lodewyk Pusung as Deputy Head, and Sony Sonjaya as Deputy Head. The new Head of the BGN is now Naniek Sudaryati Deyang, while the two new Deputy Heads are Agustina Arum Sari and Mayjen Trenggono.
