Search for missing jet-skier extended

DENPASAR, Bali: Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency
(Basarnas), three-star Vice Admiral Setya Raharjo, extended on
Monday the search for a missing jet-skier until Friday.

The search was scheduled to end on Jan. 5, according to a
decree issued by Minister of Transportation Agum Gumelar.

Two athletes, who were participants in the Bali International
Offshore 2002 competition, had gone missing during the event due
to severe weather conditions.

One jet-skier was found alive by a Taiwanese ship, but another
participant was still missing. -- Antara
