SeaBank Customers Surpass 30 Million, Daily Transactions Hit Rp6 Trillion
The use of digital banking services in Indonesia continues to rise amid the rapid growth of the digital economy. Amid this trend, PT Bank SeaBank Indonesia recorded that its number of customers has surpassed 30 million as of the end of March 2026, with an average daily transaction value reaching more than Rp6 trillion.
SeaBank Indonesia President Director Sasmaya Tuhuleley said this growth demonstrates the increasing public trust in digital banking services that are practical, fast, and integrated with daily activities.
“Over the past five years, we have seen a significant shift in how people save, transact, and make payments digitally. SeaBank wants to continue to be part of this transformation by delivering a banking experience that is easy, secure, and relevant to the needs of modern society,” Sasmaya said in a statement on Monday (6/7/2026).
In addition to customer growth, transaction activity through SeaBank has also increased. Throughout March 2026, average daily transactions reached more than 13 million, with a turnover of more than Rp6 trillion each day.
This achievement is in line with the increasing use of digital payment services nationally. According to Bank Indonesia data, digital payment transaction volume in the first quarter of 2026 reached 14.39 billion transactions, growing 33.76 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile, transactions using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) surged 111.94 percent compared to the same period last year, driven by an increase in the number of users and merchants.
According to Sasmaya, this development shows that the public is increasingly relying on digital financial services for various needs, from saving and shopping to making payments.
To sustain this growth, SeaBank will continue to strengthen its digital services to accommodate the rising transaction needs while providing secure and user-friendly services.
Coinciding with its fifth anniversary as a digital bank in Indonesia, SeaBank is also launching a promotional programme titled “Serba Lima” running from 7 to 11 July 2026. The programme offers various transaction promotions, including payments via SeaBank QRIS, discounts at selected merchants, discounts through SeaBank Bayar Instan, and promotions on mobile credit and data package purchases.
“We want every transaction on the SeaBank app to provide a fast, secure, and seamless solution. This series of promotions is a token of appreciation to customers who have grown with SeaBank over the past five years,” Sasmaya said.
