Sea of mourners as hundreds of Iranian primary school children die in US-Israel attack

Thousands gathered in Minab, Hormozgan Province, to mourn victims after an attack on a girls’ primary school in the southern Iranian city. Mourners carried coffins decorated with photographs of the children and cried as they followed funeral processions to the main site, waving flags beside vehicles. Families and parents wept as they accompanied their loved ones on their way to the burial. The coffins were then brought to the principal site where the funeral prayers were held. The attack, reported to have taken place at a girls’ primary school in Minab on Saturday, 28 February, marked the deadliest incident so far in the US-Israel confrontation with Iran.
