SEA Games squad gets Rp 5 billion

JAKARTA: The Office of the State Minister of Youth and Sports
Affairs donated Rp 5 billion (US$500,000) on Thursday to assist
the national contingent to the Southeast (SEA) Asian Games next
month.

State minister Adhyaksa Dault said the funds were allocated by
the deputy of sports development.

"The fund is moral support to Indonesian athletes so that they
will do their best in reaching their optimum results," he was
quoted as saying by Antara. -- JP
