SEA Games fund: Don't cry!

SEA Games fund: Don't cry!

From Sinar Pagi

Not all realities will become realities. This axiom should be
addressed to Wismoyo Arismunandar, the Indonesian Sports
Committee's chairman. He is currently busy with preparations for
the upcoming 19th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) to be held in
Indonesia.

As the leader of national sports committee he is,
understandably, somewhat disappointed. His double target as host
and winner of the games seems to be falling apart.

Wismoyo's obsession is unlikely to become a reality because
the funds required to attain the double target are still to be
attained.

Do not lament, Pak Wismoyo! Vent your anger on your staff.
They have shown themselves incapable of working professionally.
Another endeavor to collect funds through stickers has met with a
dead end.

The people surrounding Wismoyo actually have the potential to
look for funds. Why haven't they shown a fighting spirit to find
a breakthrough?

Do not cry! Behind you there are still government officials on
whom you can count. However, it will not help much.

Increase your prayers so that your obsession and ideals can be
realized. Indonesia may become a successful host and obtain the
most gold medals but it is very hard to accept it with common
sense.

But who knows, a miracle may happen.
