Scouts hand over milk to families

JAKARTA: Scouts handed over 4,800 cartons of milk powder to 2,400 families across the capital's five mayoralties on Thursday.

The aid was focused on 360 families made homeless by fire in Cipulir subdistrict, South Jakarta, and 240 families in East Jakarta. The Bangun Mitra Sejati Children's Shelter and 150 street kids in East Jakarta area also received the aid.

On Tuesday, the scouts also handed over milk cartons to 420 families in North Jakarta and 360 families in West Jakarta.

The milk powder was donated by PT Nestle Indonesia. -- JP
