Scoot is opening new routes from Singapore to Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Pontianak, West Kalimantan, for return trips starting in May 2026. Both routes will use Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Specifically, this low-cost airline will serve the Singapore-Belitung return route starting Sunday (3 May 2026) twice a week. “The addition of new routes to Belitung and Pontianak not only increases Scoot’s footprint in Indonesia but also strengthens the connectivity of the SIA (Singapore Airlines) Group’s network through Singapore,” said Scoot Chief Executive Officer Leslie Thng in an official statement, quoted on Friday (10 April 2026). The Singapore-Belitung flight ticket price starts at S$99 or around Rp 1.3 million one way. Conversely, the Belitung-Singapore ticket is priced from S$33 or about Rp 400,000, according to information on Scoot’s official website. Meanwhile, the Scoot Singapore-Pontianak route ticket is sold for S$129 or Rp 1.7 million one way. These latest flight tickets can already be booked through Scoot’s official website, mobile app, and gradually through other apps. With the launch of flights to Belitung and Pontianak, Scoot now serves a total of 85 flight destinations in 18 countries. “We remain committed to providing more travel choices and enjoyable journeys for our customers with Scoot,” said Thng. This includes Belitung, described as a hidden tropical tourist destination on the east coast of Sumatra, known for its unique geological formations, rich biodiversity, and natural coastline.
