Scoblar named Lebanon coach

BEIRUT (Reuters): Former Hamburg coach Joseb Scoblar has been
named the new coach of the Lebanon national team, the local
soccer federation announced.

Croatian Scoblar has signed a contract to lead the team in
October's Asian Cup which Lebanon has qualified for as hosts.

Twelve teams will play in the finals with champion Saudi
Arabia and early qualifiers Uzbekistan, Indonesia and Iraq
joining Lebanon.
