Schoolgirls robbed in public minivan

JAKARTA: Two women, two elementary school girls and two junior
high school girls were robbed on Tuesday afternoon in Tangerang
by two men on a public minivan plying the Ciputat to Bumi Serpong
Damai route.

One of the victims, Elisa Dayu Noviri, 12, said that she was
returning home from school at 2 p.m. when two men got into the
minivan at a gas station in Kampung Sawah, Tangerang.

After a few moments, the two robbers ordered the passengers to
hand over all their belongings, including the girls' school bags.

When Elisa tried to keep her school bag, one of the robbers
pointed a knife at her neck.

After taking jewelry, wallets and bags from all the
passengers, the robbers got off the minivan. They also took all
the driver's money.

Witnesses said that the robbers were well-built, one of whom
wore jeans while another wore an orange T-shirt and trousers.
