Schoolboy electrocuted on train roof

JAKARTA: An elementary school student who was taking a free ride on the roof of an electrical train was electrocuted by an overhead electricity cable.

The boy's body was removed from the scene at Juanda Railway Station in Central Jakarta, Antara reported.

Many people ignore the danger of traveling on train roofs, especially in rush hours, despite state railway company PT KAI banning the practice. -- JP
