Being a Moslem, I quite agree with the Central Java
Muhammadiyah in deciding to close the schools during the fasting
month of Ramadhan. I hope the government and private schools also
give their support because, according to Islamic teachings,
Moslems should perform their religious duties as much as possible
in order to obtain multiple rewards in jannah (heaven).

The head of the Central Java office of the Department of
Education and Culture has already approved the proposal.
