Schedules for One-Way, Contraflow, and Odd-Even Systems for the 2026 Lebaran Return Flow

JAKARTA – The government has prepared traffic engineering to anticipate the surge in vehicles during the 2026 Lebaran return flow. Several schemes such as one-way, contraflow, and odd-even will be enforced on several major toll road sections.

Previously, the Director General of Land Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, Aan Suhanan, predicted that the peak of the Lebaran return flow would occur on 24 March 2026.

Aan reminded the public who will return to Jakarta or their city of origin to avoid the time predicted to be the peak of the return flow.

The following is the schedule for traffic engineering during the 2026 Lebaran return flow:

Time: 23 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB

Location: Km 421 Semarang-Solo Toll until Km 70 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll

Time: Monday, 23 March 2026 at 14:00 WIB until Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB

Location: KM 70 Cikampek until KM 47 Karawang Barat

Time: Tuesday, 24 March 2026 at 14:00–19:00 WIB and Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 14:00–19:00 WIB

Location: KM 21 until KM 8 Jagorawi

Time: Monday, 23 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB until Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB
