Schedule and Location Information for Jakarta CFD Today

JAKARTA – The Vehicle-Free Day (HBKB) or Car Free Day (CFD) is once again being held in Jakarta on Sunday (29/3/2026) in the area of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to MH Thamrin, Jakarta.

The event was previously cancelled last week as it coincided with the Lebaran 2026 holiday.

For the implementation time, CFD takes place on Sunday mornings from 06.00 WIB to 10.00 WIB. During CFD, several main road sections will be temporarily closed to motor vehicles.

CFD in the Sudirman–Thamrin area is a routine agenda held every Sunday. This programme is one of the efforts by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to encourage the public to reduce motor vehicle usage while providing healthy and environmentally friendly public spaces.

In addition to the provincial level, CFD is also organised in several administrative city areas with different schedules. Here are the details.
