SBY to send more messages

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Wednesday
that he would continue sending text messages to people across the
country.

"It will not stop here. I will send more messages," he said
after paying his last respects to national independence hero
Roeslan Abdulgani, who passed away on Wednesday.

Susilo said that texting was a cheap and effective means of
communication, adding that his spokespersons would inform the
public about any text messages that he sent out.

On Tuesday, Susilo sent text messages to millions of
Indonesians to heighten their awareness of the national campaign
against drug abuse. --JP
