SBY to open Asian parliament forum

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is slated to open
the 8th general assembly of the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians
on Population and Development (AFPPD) on Saturday here.

The two-day meeting will be held at the Jakarta Convention
Center, but the opening ceremony will be held at the House of
Representatives.

Chairman of the organizing committee Tosari Widjaya said on
Thursday that the gathering would be attended by some 120
representatives of the 28 member countries plus observers from
Australia, the Netherlands, the U.S., and international agencies.

reproductive health, religion, and efforts to curb the spread of
