SBY to hold open house Wednesday

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and First Lady
Christiani Herawati Yudhoyono will hold an open house on
Wednesday for people wishing to greet them on the Idul Fitri
holiday, a statement from the presidential office said on Friday.

The event would be held at the State Palace from 3 p.m. until
5.30 p.m., it added.

Well-wishers are required to enter the State Palace via the
entrance gate of the State Secretary on Jl. Majapahit, and are
not allowed to bring cellular phones, bags, or cameras.

The country's leading figures including the Vice President,
ministers, top politicians and former presidents and vice
presidents traditionally hold open houses during the Idul Fitri
