SBY Performs Eid Prayer in Cikeas, Bogor, Accompanied by AHY and Hatta Rajasa

Sixth President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) performed Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah prayers at his residence in Cikeas, Bogor Regency, West Java. Several prominent figures attended to accompany SBY.

Observations at the location on Saturday (21/3/2026) showed SBY wearing a white shirt and a black peci cap. SBY prayed in the front row.

Upon arrival at the location, SBY greeted several attending figures with handshakes. The Eid prayer, held in the courtyard of his residence, was attended by a number of family members and relatives.

The Eid prayer was attended by Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) RI and Chairman of the Democrat Party (PD) Faction in the House of Representatives (DPR) RI, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas). Ibas prayed next to SBY.

Also present was the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). He also prayed next to his father.

Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security of Indonesia, Djoko Suyanto, and Coordinating Minister for the Economy for the 2019-2024 period, Hatta Rajasa. A solemn atmosphere prevailed throughout the worship and was immediately followed by the delivery of the sermon.

Previously reported, SBY was scheduled to perform Eid prayers during Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah at his residence in Cikeas, Bogor. SBY was also scheduled to hold an open house at his residence.

“It is likely that Mr SBY will perform Eid prayers in Cikeas, and we have an open house in Cikeas on the 21st (March) evening,” said Democrat Party Secretary-General Herman Khaeron to reporters on Tuesday (17/3).

Herman stated that the open house would be internal to the party. In addition, he said that friends would be invited to the open house.

“Yes, it’s true, an internal open house of the Democrat Party Central Executive Board in Cikeas, with friends,” he said.
