SBY and Jokowi Scheduled to Attend Prabowo's Open House This Afternoon

Former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Joko Widodo (Jokowi) are scheduled to attend the open house (gelar griya) of President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace on the first day of Eid 2026, Saturday (21/3) afternoon. “We have just received information regarding the attendance of President SBY and President Jokowi, but we will confirm the exact time later,” said Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi when met at the Presidential Palace. “It is planned for this afternoon,” he added. Prabowo is holding the open house as part of the halalbihalal for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Saturday (21/3) afternoon. Based on the live broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, Prabowo, accompanied by his son Didit Hediprasetyo, entered the open house area starting with a fanfare trumpet blast heard around 3:00 PM WIB. Prabowo then greeted and shook hands with a number of citizens who had lined up neatly along the road. Since midday, around 12:00 PM WIB, long queues were visible at the palace entrance gate via Jalan Majapahit. The Presidential Secretariat’s live broadcast stated that it is estimated that 5,000 citizens will attend the open house at the palace.
