SBY and Family Visit Palace for Halalbihalal with Prabowo

Sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) arrived at Merdeka Palace in Central Jakarta to participate in a halalbihalal event with President Prabowo Subianto. SBY was accompanied by his children, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Prabowo welcomed SBY and his family at the side entrance of Merdeka Palace. SBY was joined by his eldest son, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), and his youngest son, Deputy Speaker of the MPR Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas). AHY and Ibas brought their wives and children. The SBY family coordinated their outfits in cream-coloured attire. Prabowo hosted SBY and his family at Merdeka Palace. Prabowo’s son, Didit Hediprasetyo, Cabinet Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Deputy Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya were seen joining the welcome at Merdeka Palace. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming was also present at Merdeka Palace. Prabowo held an open house at the Palace after Eid al-Fitr prayers in Aceh. Cabinet Secretary Prasetyo emphasised that officials in the Cabinet Merah Putih are not required to hold open houses. He recalled this as a presidential instruction from some time ago. “Indeed, he also conveyed to all Cabinet Merah Putih officials and institutional leaders that it is not mandatory,” said Prasetyo after Eid prayers with Prabowo in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh, on Friday (20/3).
