SBI rate drops again

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Indonesia said the interest rate of its
one-month promissory notes (SBIs) dropped by another nine basis
points at the central bank's weekly auction on Wednesday.

The weighted average interest rate of the one-month SBI notes
dropped to 12.97 percent from 13.06 percent in the previous
week's auction, the central bank said.

Bank Indonesia said it absorbed Rp 11.48 trillion at the SBI
auction.

The average interest rates on one-month central bank
promissory notes (SBIs) dropped to 13.06 percent the previous
week from 13.09 percent a week ago. (hen)
