Sawmills raided in Jambi, four nabbed

JAMBI: Police raided four sawmills in Sarolangun regency, Jambi on Wednesday, arresting the owners and seizing 377 cubic meters of timber. The police also sealed the sawmills off following the raid.

Sarolangun Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Alamsyah Marzuki said the mills had been operating without permits. -- JP
