Save Bandung!

Destruction of the environment and natural resources in this
beloved country has been going on since the early years of the
First Five-Year Development Plan 1969-1973.

Then certain people, who claimed to have the authority and the
right to manage the forests, began to destroy the tropical
forest. In reality their activities were not for the welfare of
the people but merely for the benefit of the individuals.

We are now witnessing destruction of the environment in North
and South Bandung. Sadly, the people's representatives in the
House of Representatives are showing little concern over the
environmental problem.

I can only hope that Bandung will be saved from environmental
destruction.
