REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Saudia Airlines Indonesia has officially begun Hajj flight services for the year 1447H/2026M by departing the first batch of pilgrims from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) on Wednesday (22/4/2026) at 07.00 WIB. The pilgrims are flown directly to Madinah as part of the start of this year’s Hajj operations.

This inaugural flight marks the beginning of a series of services by Saudia Airlines to support the mobility of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. In addition to Jakarta, the airline also serves departures from several other embarkation points, namely Batam (BTH), Palembang (PLM), Kertajati (KJT), and Surabaya (SUB), with direct flights to Madinah or Jeddah.

During this occasion, Saudia Airlines brought representatives from management to see off the first batch of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. Present at the event were Mr. Reham, Director of Southeast Asia & Australia for Saudia Airlines, and Mr. Ali, Director of Ground Operations for the East Asia Region, along with Mr. Andri Bermawi, Director of PT Ayuberga as the official General Sales Agent (GSA) for Saudia Airlines in Indonesia.
