Saudi Delegation Hears Quranic Verse at Khamenei's Coffin

A Saudi Arabian delegation has paid its final respects to the late Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, in Tehran. Led by Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed El Khereiji, the six-member group walked slowly into the mourning hall. In front of Khamenei’s coffin, the Saudi delegation was read a verse from the Quran. The verse recited was Surah Ali ’Imran, verse 13: “Indeed, there was a sign for you in the two groups that met. One group fought in the way of Allah, and the other was disbelieving. They saw them as twice their number, with their own eyes. And Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed, in that is a lesson for those of insight.”
