Saudi Arabia's first automotive brand introduces its first EV
Jeddah (ANTARA) - Saudi Arabia’s first automotive brand has introduced its first electric vehicle (EV). The EXOBOT sedan and SUV represent the first offerings in a portfolio of seven models planned for launch over the next five years, which will include medium and compact vehicles with various powertrain options.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud—who also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which founded CEER in 2022—stated that this launch marks another step forward in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem.
“This further enables the automotive sector to become a primary driver of economic growth, through efforts to attract investment, empower national talent, and expand the role of the private sector to further solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading regional and global hub for this industry,” he said.
According to a company statement, the vehicles, which are locally designed and engineered, have been developed in accordance with the highest global standards.
