Saudi Arabia Starts Accepting Umrah Pilgrims

Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah visas and welcoming pilgrims from Sunday, 14 Dzulhijjah, which is 31 May 2026, for the new Umrah season. According to the newly released 1448 AH Umrah calendar by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, pilgrims can enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits via the Nusuk application from Monday, 1 June 2026. The final date for Umrah visa issuance is 1 Syawal 1448 AH (9 March 2027), while the last day for pilgrims to arrive in Saudi Arabia is 15 Syawal 1448 AH (23 March 2027). The Ministry confirmed that 30 Syawal 1448 AH (7 April 2027) will be the final departure date for Umrah pilgrims from Saudi Arabia. The Ministry has called on Umrah service providers and foreign agents to adhere to the scheduled dates and comply with all regulations and instructions issued by the ministry to ensure high-quality services throughout the Umrah season.
