REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKKAH – The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the opening of registration for domestic pilgrims to perform the Hajj this year, starting on Monday, 23rd February 2026, or 6th Ramadan 1447 Hijri. Registration for package bookings will begin on 4th March 2026, or 15th Ramadan 1447 Hijri.

Saudi citizens and expatriates with valid residency permits who wish to perform the Hajj from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can apply through the Nusuk application and official website (nusuk.sa).

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah noted that priority during this phase, which will last until the end of Shawwal, will be given to individuals who have not previously performed the Hajj. If quotas are still available, bookings will be opened to other eligible applicants, as quoted by Saudi Gazette on Wednesday, 25th February 2026.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and meet approved health requirements. For expatriates, a valid residency permit is required, with priority given to those whose residency permits were issued more than one Gregorian calendar year prior.

The Ministry emphasised that arrangements are made exclusively through licensed companies registered on the Nusuk platform. Applicants must register personally by creating an account, completing information, verifying eligibility, selecting a package, and paying fees through the SADAD system to obtain a Hajj permit.

The Ministry urges applicants to register promptly through the Nusuk application or official website. For inquiries, the public can contact 1966.
