The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a multiple-entry Umrah visa. This visa allows Umrah pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times within a one-year period, with a total stay of up to 90 days. The visa is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and enables pilgrims to make several visits during its validity period. The total 90-day stay is calculated cumulatively based on the number of days spent in Saudi Arabia on each visit. However, the ministry stressed that the multiple-entry Umrah visa cannot be used to enter Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. Additionally, the duration of the selected Umrah service package must not exceed the remaining stay available under the visa. To obtain this visa, pilgrims are required to purchase a service package from an accredited provider registered on the Nusuk platform for each visit. Before each entry into Saudi Arabia, pilgrims must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app. The permit date must correspond with the approved service package and meet all travel requirements and entry conditions. The ministry added that the visa will be automatically deactivated each time the pilgrim leaves Saudi Arabia. It will be reactivated for the next visit once all regulatory requirements are met. The remaining available stay will be automatically carried over to the next visit and can be used as long as the visa remains valid.
