Saudi Arabia expresses condolences over the death of TNI soldier in Lebanon

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jakarta has conveyed condolences to the Indonesian Government over the death of Private First Class (Praka) Rico Pramudia while on duty in Lebanon.

The Saudi Embassy in Jakarta expressed its deepest condolences to the family of Praka Rico, as well as to the people and Government of Indonesia, over the passing of the TNI soldier in a peacekeeping mission as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) due to an Israeli attack.

In a statement on the X platform on Saturday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also expressed solidarity with the Indonesian government and people.

Praka Rico breathed his last on Friday (24/4) after being treated for nearly a month due to injuries sustained in the incident that occurred in Adchit Al-Qusayr. That attack incident also resulted in the death of Praka Farizal Rhomadhon.

With the death of Praka Rico, Indonesia has now lost four TNI soldiers while serving with UNIFIL in southern Lebanon in the past month.
