Saudi Arabia Condemns Iranian Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Iranian attacks against Kuwait and Bahrain, warning that they pose a threat to the security of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement issued on Sunday (28/6/2026), the Ministry expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and rejection of Iran’s act of aggression. The Kingdom also firmly rejected the attacks, which it deemed a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. The Ministry stressed that such violations could undermine international efforts to restore security and stability in the region. In concluding its statement, the Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, and expressed its full support for any measures the two countries take to protect their sovereignty and security.
