Saudi Arabia completes Hajj service preparations at two miqat points

Jeddah (ANTARA) – The Royal Commission for Makkah and the Holy Places, together with Hajj organisers, has completed operational preparations and services at Miqat Yalamlam and Miqat Al-Juhfah. With rising pilgrim arrivals via land, air, and sea, a number of integrated operational plans have been prepared to enhance service quality during the 1447 H year Hajj season, SPA reported on Wednesday (20 May).

Preparations at Miqat Yalamlam in the Al Lith Governorate and Miqat Al-Juhfah in the Rabigh Governorate include comprehensive development and maintenance of facilities and services. The efforts include upgrading internal routes, courtyards, resting areas, as well as strengthening cleanliness, guidance, maintenance, and air conditioning to ensure pilgrims’ comfort from arrival at the miqat. The Commission also ensures the readiness of prayer areas, toilets, and ablution facilities in cooperation with operators.

Additionally, the number of field operation teams, volunteers, emergency and health services has been increased, alongside the development of an information system and multilingual guidance for pilgrims from various countries.
