Saudi Arabia Announces Technology Investments Worth Over $15 Billion

Riyadh (ANTARA) - The Saudi Press Agency has reported that LEAP, Saudi Arabia’s annual international technology conference, began in Riyadh on Monday (31/8), featuring various technology launches, investments, and partnerships valued at more than US$15 billion in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and cutting-edge technology.

The report noted that running until 3 September, this year’s conference brings together leading figures in technology and AI, investors, and innovators from around the world. The event covers various sectors, including AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and healthcare.

In his opening speech, the Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alswaha, stated that Saudi Arabia is moving forward consistently to lead the AI era through partnerships with several major global companies, innovators, and investors.
