Saturday prices: red bird's eye chilli at Rp83,100/kg, chicken eggs at Rp32,550/kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices on Saturday at 10:10 WIB, with the commodity of red bird’s eye chilli reaching Rp83,100 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp32,550 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta, besides red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail-level food prices included shallots at Rp47,350 per kg and garlic at Rp40,200 per kg. Additionally, grade I low-quality rice was priced at Rp14,500 per kg, grade II low-quality rice at Rp14,550 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium-quality rice was at Rp16,050 per kg, and grade II medium-quality rice at Rp15,900 per kg. Then, grade I super rice was at Rp17,300 per kg, and grade II super rice at Rp16,850 per kg. Furthermore, PIHPS recorded the price of large red chilli at Rp48,000 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp45,600 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp52,950 per kg. Subsequently, fresh broiler chicken meat was at Rp41,500 per kg, grade I beef at Rp147,650 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp137,950 per kg. The prices of the following commodities were recorded as premium white sugar at Rp20,150 per kg and local white sugar at Rp19,100 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was at Rp20,100 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp23,250 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp22,350 per litre.
