Saturday: Mobile Driving Licence Service Locations across Five Jakarta Districts

Jakarta — The Directorate of Traffic of the Metro Jaya Police has established mobile driving licence (SIM) renewal services across five locations in Jakarta to assist residents in extending the validity of their legal driving permits. These services will operate on Saturday from 08:00 to 11:00 WIB.

According to the official X (Twitter) account of the TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the service locations are:

East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall

South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi University Kalibata

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

Central Jakarta: Parking area of Lapangan Banteng Post Office

West Jakarta: South lobby of Ciputra Mall

For driving licences that have expired, licence holders must submit a new application at the locations designated by the police.

Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the renewal cost is IDR 80,000 for Class A licences and IDR 75,000 for Class C licences.

Class B licences cannot be renewed through the mobile SIM service but must be renewed at the designated SIM Administrative Service Unit (Satpas) office due to differences in document classification. Class B licences are specifically designated for vehicles.
