Satpol PP Sends Illegal Parking Attendants in Penjaringan to Social Institution

The Penjaringan District Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) in North Jakarta has sent six illegal parking attendants caught in a raid at several locations to a social institution for rehabilitation. “Six people found carrying out illegal parking activities were taken to the Penjaringan District Office for data collection and subsequently sent to a social institution for rehabilitation,” said Head of Penjaringan District Satpol PP, Selvi Rachmawati, in Jakarta on Tuesday. She stated that the six individuals were caught during a Joint Operation to Enforce Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2007 in the Penjaringan District area on Monday (30/6). Officers conducted operations at several locations, including Jalan Pluit Selatan Raya, Jalan Jembatan Tiga Raya, Jalan Gedong Panjang, and under the Jembatan Tiga Flyover. One person was caught carrying out illegal parking activities on Jalan Jembatan Tiga Raya, three people on Jalan Pluit Selatan Raya, one person under the Jembatan Tiga Flyover, and one person on Jalan Gedong Panjang. “Of the six people caught, one of them is a woman,” said Selvi. She stated that the six individuals will receive rehabilitation at the social institution so that they will not carry out illegal parking activities again. “They were brought to the district office first for data collection, then sent to the institution for rehabilitation so they do not repeat illegal parking activities,” she said.
