Satpol PP Raids Bogor Nightclub After Viral Brawl

The Bogor Municipal Police (Satpol PP) conducted a raid on nightlife venues on Jalan Merdeka, Central Bogor, following a disturbance that recently went viral on social media. The inspection focused on verifying restaurant business licences and alcohol sale permits.

“This is a follow-up to the incident that went viral on social media regarding the events of last Saturday night. We came here to clarify and check the permits held by the ‘Teras Nona Manis’ venue,” stated the Head of Bogor Municipal Satpol PP, Pupung Wahyu Purnama, to reporters on Wednesday (8/7/2026).

Satpol PP officers arrived at the nightlife venue in the early hours of the morning. The officers requested statements from the management regarding the disturbance that occurred last weekend.

Following the investigation, Pupung noted that according to the management, the viral disturbance occurred outside the premises and was not caused by the venue’s patrons. However, the management will be summoned to the Satpol PP office for further clarification.

“We have clarified that the disturbance was not caused by visitors to this cafe, according to the manager’s admission. The commotion happened outside, and people were pulled inside to ensure safety and peace,” said Pupung.

“Therefore, we will summon them tomorrow to clarify the chronology of events, and we will investigate whether any other violations have occurred,” he added.

During the raid, Pupung reported that dozens of Class B and C alcoholic beverages were found being sold without a permit. These beverages were subsequently seized and taken to the Satpol PP office.

“Furthermore, during our check, we found several bottles of Class B and C alcohol that we have secured. There were approximately 35 bottles of various brands. Upon inspection, it was confirmed that this restaurant already possesses a permit for Class A alcohol,” said Pupung.

Pupung stated that his department has issued a first warning due to the discovery of the unauthorised alcohol. According to regulations, the establishment will face operational suspension if violations are repeated.

“We will monitor whether there are further violations following the warning we have issued. In accordance with standard operating procedures, there are stages we follow before eventually imposing a temporary suspension of operations if repeated violations occur,” concluded Pupung.
