Satgas RAFI Accelerates from 3 March, Pertamina on 24-Hour Alert
PT Pertamina (Persero) will activate its Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas RAFI) from 3 March 2026 to ensure energy distribution remains secure during the period of increased consumption.
Pertamina’s Corporate Secretary Arya Dwi Paramita explained that the taskforce is activated as part of strengthening operational capacity to address the surge in energy demand during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. All work units, from central level to regional offices, are placed on standby to maintain the smooth flow of energy distribution across all regions.
“Insya Allah, on 3 March we will begin implementing the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Satgas RAFI,” Arya stated during an operational visit with media representatives at the Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Halim Perdanakusuma in Jakarta on Wednesday (25 February 2026).
He explained that through the taskforce, Pertamina activates an integrated distribution monitoring system operating 24 hours daily. Monitoring is conducted to ensure all energy products are available and distributed to the public promptly.
“Through this Satgas, we activate all units, from central to regional levels, for 24 hours to monitor energy distribution across all regions,” said Arya.
Operational preparations are carried out well before the alert period begins, including building stock reserves and preparing supporting infrastructure. When the official period commences, all systems are ready to operate to anticipate the surge in consumption, particularly in the transport sector and public mobility.
The visit to AFT Halim focused on monitoring the readiness of aviation fuel services (avtur). This facility serves commercial aircraft, Indonesian Air Force operational bases, and VVIP flights with restricted access and security systems.
Pertamina also ensures strict quality monitoring of avtur through a series of tests before distribution to aircraft. The distribution process in the apron area is carried out with multi-layered safety procedures to maintain aviation operational standards.
“We will also periodically update the media regarding the implementation and progress of this taskforce,” Arya stated.
Through the operation of Satgas RAFI, Pertamina targets ensuring energy availability remains secure across all regions during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. This measure is expected to support smooth public mobility and maintain stable national economic activity.
