Satgas PASTI Halts Operations of Malahayati Consultant for Lack of Licensing
The Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas PASTI) has officially halted all operational activities of PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya, or Malahayati Consultant, on Tuesday (28/4/2026). This firm action was taken because the company was found to be offering services for resolving online loan problems without valid business permits.
According to Detik Finance, Malahayati Consultant was known to provide various consultation services, debt collection, and capital disbursement programmes. However, identification results showed that the company illegally used the Financial Services Authority (OJK) logo to claim registered status in order to convince potential customers.
The company’s modus operandi involved directing the public to close old online loan debts by applying for new loans on other platforms. Malahayati promised to settle all debt burdens in exchange for fees from a portion of the loan funds successfully disbursed to customers.
Regulators emphasised that these activities do not comply with the licensing provisions issued by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM or other financial authorities.
“Based on the results of clarification and verification, it was found that Malahayati does not have permission from OJK or other related regulators and is conducting business activities that do not align with the licensing issued by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming RI/BKPM,” stated the official Satgas PASTI OJK release.
In addition to stopping physical activities, Satgas PASTI will also block all social media access and links (URLs) belonging to Malahayati Consultant. This action is aimed at preventing more people from falling victim to these illegal debt resolution practices.
“Satgas PASTI will take firm steps in criminal law enforcement if the cessation of activities is not complied with,” the statement added.
OJK reminds the public to always verify the legality of institutions offering financial services to avoid further losses. Complaints regarding illegal investments or online loans can be made through the official website sipasti.ojk.go.id, OJK Contact 157, or the official WhatsApp service.
For citizens who have become victims of financial transaction scams, reports can be directed through the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) website. The platform is designed to support the acceleration of blocking perpetrator accounts by authorities.
