Satgas Pasti Halts Cantvr and Yudia Fraudulent Activities
Jakarta — The Financial Fraud Eradication Task Force (Satgas Pasti) has halted the business activities of Cantvr, which is suspected of conducting fraud through impersonation by misappropriating the name of a licensed foreign company, and Yudia, which allegedly engaged in fraud via fake part-time job offers and Chinese drama copyright purchases.
In a press release on Friday (22/05/2026), the Financial Services Authority (OJK) stated that Cantvr and Monexplora (Mex) are suspected to be linked entities, as investment offers via the Cantvr platform were sourced from Mex. Cantvr reportedly impersonated Cantor Fitzgerald, a licensed company in the United States and Singapore. Following clarification and verification, it was discovered that Cantvr’s business activities did not align with the permits issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM. Furthermore, the applications and websites used by both Cantvr and Mex were not registered as Electronic System Providers (PSE) with the Ministry of Communication and Digital.
Cantvr showed indications of running a stock investment scam via an application, using a deposit system that promised high returns and benefits based on membership levels. Additionally, Cantvr provided random allocations of fictitious IPO stock purchases, requiring members to make payments for these non-existent shares.
Similarly, Yudia is suspected of operating an investment scam involving deposit schemes, daily tasks such as watching Chinese dramas, purchasing drama copyrights, and a ‘member get member’ recruitment scheme to earn daily income and bonuses. Verification revealed that Yudia operated without the necessary permits from the Ministry of Investment and Downstraming/BKPM, and its digital platforms were not registered as PSEs.
In response to these findings, Satgas Pasti has ceased the activities of Cantvr and Yudia and will proceed to block access to all related applications and URLs. The Task Force will also coordinate with law enforcement for further legal action.
Members of the public who have suffered losses are urged to report immediately to local law enforcement. Satgas Pasti reiterates its call for the public to remain vigilant against investment offers promising high and illogical returns, particularly those using the names of licensed foreign companies without clear legal standing in Indonesia. Reports of illegal investment or online loan offers can be made via sipasti.ojk.go.id, OJK contact 157, WhatsApp 081157157157, or email konsumen@ojk.go.id. Victims of financial transaction fraud can report via the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) website at iasc.ojk.go.id to support the rapid blocking of perpetrators’ bank accounts.
