The Chair of the Bogor Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Sastra Winara, has stated that there remains substantial work to be completed by Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto and Deputy Regent Jaro Ade following their first year in office.

He identified three priority development sectors in Bogor Regency that truly address the fundamental needs of the community: education, health, and infrastructure. “These sectors certainly deserve our support so that the Bogor Regency Government can complete them,” stated Sastra Winara.

Sastra expressed hope that the development undertaken by the Bogor Regency Government will be felt and implemented across all areas. “We appreciate the initial steps of the administration, but going forward the local government must be increasingly focused and targeted in its development, and most importantly, ensure equitable distribution,” he said.

He added that the sustainability of development programmes is the key to the success of local government. Therefore, consistency in policy and commitment to public service must be maintained in the coming years.

Earlier, Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, whilst attending the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) in Puspanegara Sub-village, confirmed that every priority programme is planned based on public aspirations, starting from the grassroots level. At the Musrenbang, the community could directly convey their needs and expectations. This ensures that every development programme is well-targeted and provides tangible benefits.

Rudy stated that the planning process will continue with sub-district level Musrenbang deliberations within one to two weeks, before further discussion at the RKPD Musrenbang. “All results will subsequently be formulated into the 2027 fiscal year budget structure,” he said.

He emphasised that development planning is not merely about programmes and budgets, but also about hopes, justice, and a better future for all residents of Bogor Regency. Through this Musrenbang event, the Bogor Regency Government has demonstrated its commitment to developing priority programmes that originate from the grassroots, deliver tangible benefits, and address the real needs of the community.
