Sastra Winara: Halalbihalal Serves as Momentum to Strengthen People's Sovereignty

The Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Bogor Regency held a halalbihalal event at the DPRD Bogor Regency Plenary Building on Monday, 30 March 2026. Chairman of the DPRD Bogor Regency, Sastra Winara, stated that the event aims to strengthen unity within the DPRD environment after the Eid al-Fitr holiday. This is because the event was not only attended by council members but also involved all employees in the DPRD Secretariat environment up to the cleaning staff who have supported the legislative institution’s activities. “This halalbihalal becomes a momentum to strengthen silaturahmi and unity in the big family of DPRD Bogor Regency,” said Sastra Winara. He explained that unity among leaders, council members, secretariat employees, to cleaning staff is an important part in maintaining a harmonious work atmosphere. With this event, it is hoped that family-like relations in the DPRD Bogor Regency environment will become even closer, thus supporting the institution’s performance in carrying out its duties of serving the community. “We have been entrusted by the people, and we must not hurt the people’s hearts. Even if we cannot please and make the people happy, then at this good moment we must apologise to the people,” he stressed.
